Kentucky Woman Tried Using Dog Pee To Pass Drug Test

 Julie Miller

A Kentucky woman was arrested this week after authorities said she tried to pass her dog’s urine off as her own during a routine drug test.

Police said Julie Miller, 40, was at the Bell County Probation and Parole Office in Pineville on Monday when an officer asked for a drug screen.

The officer told police the urine was not hers and the woman eventually confessed to sneaking in a sample of her dog’s pee instead of her own, authorities said in a news release.

The suspect told police she knew she would have failed the test because she had used methamphetamine and Suboxone, which is used to treat opioid addiction, according to the release.

Miller was taken into custody and charged with tampering with physical evidence, probation violation and trafficking a controlled substance.
