A mum has shared a heartbreaking video in which her disabled son, who is nine-years-old, has been tormented by bullies just moments before.

Yarraka Bayles, from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, has shared an emotional video in which her son, Quaden, has been picked up from school “in hysterics”.

Not long after being born, the nine-year-old was diagnosed with dwarfism and is now regularly tormented by bullies and online trolls.

Yarraka says in the clip: “I’ve just picked my son up from school, witnessed a bullying episode, rang the principal, and I want people to know – parents, educators, teachers – this is the effect that bullying has.”

Tears roll down poor Quaden’s cheek as he tells his mother he doesn’t want to live anymore.

“I just want to die right now,” he adds.

Yarraka claims that “every single freaking day” she picks up Quaden from school to discover that something traumatic has happened to him. She says he just “wants to go school, get an education and have fun.”

Fighting back tears, the mum pleads for parents and families to take the time and raise disability awareness in schools and with their children.

She says: “I’ve got a son that is suicidal almost every single day.

“Every time there is a triggering – anything that happens at school or while we’re in public, which is almost every time we’re in public.”

In 2019, the mum informed Quest Community that when her son was just six-years-old, she walked in on him trying to take his own life.

The tragic story touched millions of hearts across the world, including those in the world of sports.

Latrell Mitchell, the National Rugby League star and the Indigenous All Stars invited Quaden to lead them out on their match.
