[WATCH] Man Caught Escaping Coronavirus Lockdown By Dressing As A Bush

Nicholas Murray and Madeline Mai-Davies filmed the moment their neighbour tried escaping his house during lockdown by dressing up as a bush.

The coronavirus pandemic, that has affected over 7.8 lakh people and claimed 37, 815 lives, has resulted in nationwide lockdowns in several countries to prevent the spread of the highly contagious virus.

But now, the long hours of quarantining and self-isolation seems to be taking a toll on some individuals. Pictures and videos shared on social media show quarantined people trying bizarre and unthinkable activities at home to keep themselves busy.

From turning a kitchen floor to a treadmill to running a marathon inside a flat, people in isolation are going viral on social media every day. But long hours of isolation at home is not for everyone. Some feel the need to go out every day.

Now, an outdoor activity has been flagged by a couple from Stevenage, Hertfordshire. It is something right out of a comedy film.

Nicholas Murray and Madeline Mai-Davies filmed the moment their neighbour tried escaping his house during lockdown by dressing up as a bush.

Watch the video here:

The couple's next-door neighbour was so desperate to leave the house that he dressed head-to-toe in foliage and scurried down the quiet suburban street.

"Reached new extremes of how to sneak out," Madeline Mai-Davies is heard saying in the video.

In the video, the neighbour can be seen hiding behind a bush before walking across the driveway. Moments later, he begins to roll on the street and onto a lawn when a delivery truck passes by.

Towards the end of the video, the neighbour can be seen scurrying back to his house with a brown package in his hand. But just as he is about to reach the door, he drops to the floor but gets up a few seconds later.

The video has now gone viral on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with over 16.5 million views. While some netizens said it was not right for him to leave his house during a lockdown, many were highly impressed with his camouflaging and stealth skills
